AC problem
98 F150 5.4 4x4
Comeing home from the beach the blower motor quit blowing while on max air. Moved selector to air and you can feel cold air as long as you are moveing. Blower motor will work if you straight wire it but does not blow as hard. Any help would be great.

if you stright wire directly to the blower it sould run full speed. if it does not, then the motor is bad or blower is plugged with leaves or mouse nest... if you have lost a couple of the speeds, lay on the passenger floor and look up under the glove box at the hot air duct. there should be a small resistor block screwed to the duct with 4 wires going to it... the resistors are burnt... get a new one at Auto Zone.
