That is just beautiful.
I know a lot of folks who treat dogs (and other animals for that matter) like animals of servitude and, while they do not necessarily abuse them (although there are plenty of those folks out there too) neither do they love them the way most of my dog-owning friends do.
I cannot imagine how dreary my life would be without my two house dogs to keep me company. And, I am married with children.
But the dogs have a special role in each of my family members' lives.
I honestly find it hard to comprehend how some people do not have affection for animals.
This affection and appreciation has not kept me from slaughtering my share of steers and pigs over the course of my life, nor has it prevented me from dropping a whitetail or two over the years. I just make sure that I do it as humanely and efficiently as possible.
But to see a dog suffering tears at my heart, and to see this other dog do what he did just blows my mind.

i just rewatched this video and i cant get over it..i wish we as a whole were this compassionate and would willing jump into harms way for one another..that is truly just amazing.. i cant believe it..
