You are a dog person!

A native american would say you have dog as a totem.

You relate to dogs well and can tell what they are trying to tell you
People close to dogs can use the senses of their dog companion to find things and see things ordinary people can't

Dogs have much higher senses in smell and hearing

A dog can SMELL a trail many DAYS old

Don't believe me?
Lock both your dog and your wife in the trunk of a car on a hot day for about a half hour and see which one will be happy to see you when you open it.....

(Just kidding folks. I love my wife and my dogs!)

I have 4 dogs and I love how happy they are to see me, even if I just walked out the garage door and come in the front door 5 hours or even 5 minutes later.

My dogs trained me. I know what thay want by the look or what they do. Everyone says they have their dog trained.
Moe was the best, he died about a year ago. I found out what he was doing the night he died, I got got a puppy.
We have a little girl that lives up the street, she is sick alot. Her daddy told me moe would come to the door and bark. He said he would let Moe in and he would go to her room and check on her, come back to the living room and set a min, and leave. He died in the field behind her house.
I got his son and he ack just like old Moe. Damn I miss that old dog.

I love my blue heeler, always making me smile. Even after he has chewed up a lot of things. I'm just glad the puppy stage is over. And now I have him trained to run into his crate when I get mad at him.

I know that even a big happy, go lucky, Black Lab can become 120lbs of snarling fury, if my wife or daughter are threatened by another dog or person.

Dave I`m pretty sure that with your arsenal that the lab would just sit back in the recliner and coax em in till he sees the white of their eyes, then boom! No snarling, only a snicker

My golden weighs 140lbs and in the morning about 3:30 he goes and lays in the kitchen and stares at me on the computer until I feed him. My jack russell could care less.
