What's the matter Nutter? Do you drive a truck because you feel inadequate? I probably have more hair on my ***** than you have on your head.

My statement makes as much sense as someone calling my car a wussy car. I miss the hell out of my truck, but I couldn't come up with an excuse to tell my kids when I couldn't afford to send them to college. I don't think, "sorry son, you can't go to college because dad was too selfish to drive a more economical vehicle", would fly too far.

Well rob_nc I drive a truck because I need a truck. Hauling wood,Snowmobiles,Dirtbikes,Boat,The only access to my cottage is by 4x4 and I live on a hobbie farm. These things can't be accomplished with a WUSSY car

This is a Ford Truck site and that statement about manhood was just waiting to get hit!

If you do have more hair in that area you'd be a freek.:-staun

I was just poking fun at that statement and not at that WUSSY car of yours. You should be proud of your self for making the sacrifice of driving that WUSSY car for the sake of your childrens education.

Just do them a favour when you drop them off at school park around the corner so the other kids don't laugh at them getting out of the WUSSY car.

PS rob_nc dont take it so hard I sometimes drive the wifes car
and a WUSSY car it is

Point taken Nutter. I had to make the statement about manhood. Unless you haven't noticed, nearly 75% of trucks sold are NEVER used for more than daily transportation. That just leaves me to believe that some of these people driving trucks are looking to increase their self esteem. I've driven trucks for the last 20 years. I thought I'd never see the day when I wouldn't have one. I mean, owning a house certainly means trips to the local home improvement warehouse, and generally that requires a truck of some kind. (unless you hire all your work done). But I decided to get a small utility trailer to replace the hauling capacity I lost. I know, it's not as cool as a P/U, but hey, I'm spending 1/3 the money in gas and it only partially cramps my style. I'd more than love to own a F350 4X4 crewcab, dually, diesel. Now that's a truck, all others are toys.

And for those of you reading this that think a Focus is a wussy car, go down to your dealer and drive one. I was surprised as I'm sure you will be. I was looking at an Escape, but I got a better deal on a car.
My car has HID headlights, the only vehicle Ford makes with these super bright lights, I have a 460 watt stereo (factory installed). I know of no truck with that much punch. And it's quick!! (Plus fun to drive)
