Ordered it with my truck as well.

Taken from the brochure PDF:

Max. Trailer Tow Package (required for towing over 2268
kg [5000 lbs.]) — Includes Trailer Brake Controller; Class
IV trailer hitch receiver; 7-pin wiring harness; upgraded
radiator; auxiliary transmission cooler; upgraded rear bumper;
upgraded rear springs; heavy-duty front eye bushing
(restrictions apply; see dealer for details)

I think this is the single most important package to buy. It beefs up the whole truck.

This is confusing because I believe my non-Max Tow F150 is rated to tow 9,600 lbs. I have a 2010 FX4 w 3.73 rear end and factory trailer package with brake controller.

I have the max tow with the 3.73 but no brake controller. I installed the factory one my self and had the dealer turn it on...

Not for us Canadian users, they don't put that on our Max Tow package.

I don't like those big mirrors on the F-150.

Don't forget the ratio change in the steering box. Something like 20:1.
