I have a 2000 f250 with 7.3,my power chip fell out of my box today then truck died ,i plug it back in now my truck wont start ,check all fuses none blown,wait to start light not coming on,but it will start on starting fluid,any ideals
is there anyway to check the ecu ,i didnt post this in my first thread but the chip was not working ,and when i took the lower panel underneath steering wheel off the chip was hanging out of the box ,the truck was running and when i reached up to push it in it fell out ,truck died immediatly, and when i plug the chip back in it was getting hot,and is there anyway to check the chip
I do have scanner and know how to use it but that is something that happen when the chip came out was now my scanner wont communicate with the truck,somebody else said maybe body control module
Did you check all fuses there are several that pertain to the PCM both under dash and under hood
You could take the PCM apart and check for burn marks
Always remove keys from ignition before pulling the PCM
