turbo help

Currently trying to replace the head gasket on my 94 f 250 with the 7.3 turbo but my problem now is that I can't seem to get the turbo out at all I have taken off the y pipe holding the exhaust side of the turbo on along with all the bolts to free the turbo from the intake manifold. I can wobble it back and forth but for some reason it will not come out. Am I missing a clip or something like that on the exhust side? And I for got to say the intake side of the turbo is off as well I disconnected that stright from the turbo. Any help would be great.

To get the turbo up pipe out, you have to seperate the up pipe.

Problem there is, many people have had a hard time getting the up pipe to seal when they reinstall it.

I have swapped head gaskets on my 6.9 ATS 093 turbo, same as your 7.3 turbo.
When I want to remove the heads, the engine comes out of the truck first.

You can actually pull the engine, change gaskets and put the engine back in faster than you can change head gaskets in the truck, and you don't have to seperate the turbo up pipe.

If your truck has AC, you will see what I mean when you go to remove the passenger side head.

Well I see what u mean I ended up getting the turbo off a few mins ago I'm taking a quick break and then starting on the manifold and don't worry I have the print out on what bolt to take out first and what order anlong with the heads. So far what I have learned so far about working on this engine is to pull it and not leave the engine in the truck. But thank you for the advice and by the way I do have to ask when you work on the passangers side do u have to remove the a/c or can I just loosen it so I can get out the push rods???
