Need help with turbo install
putting turbo from 94 on my 89. where does the oil return line from the turbo go into the motor? do i need the valley pan and intake off the turbo motor or is mine the same?

If you have the factory turbo from a 94, the oil return goes into the spot where you remove the CDR. Be sure to knock some holes in the valley pan threw the hole where the CDR sat to help the oil to get drained back into the motor. You remove the oil pressure sending unit, and thread the oil feed line to where the sending unit was. The oil feed line runs to the top of the turbo where it tees, and the oil pressure sending unit is moved to one leg of the tee.

ok so i took out the cdr and the plastic tube thats a couple inches long that it went into cracked. so now where the turbos return line goes into is not tight the hole in the valley is much larger because that plastic tube cracked. what can i do to fix this "grommet" issue?

That grommet you need is no longer available. But if you can find this Ford part no. E8TZ-6A892 which is the rubber tube for the CDR, that replaces the steel one, it will work. You have to cut it down, but the turbo drain fits snuggly into it. I found ths out by accident while installing a factory turbo in my nephew's 93, as it had this rubber CDR tube on it. I looked at Parts Guy Ed's site a few days ago, and it looked like they had it. Tryed a few minutes ago and it said the site was under construction untill 1-8-12.
