If you can't beat it off, buy a bigger hammer. if it still won't come off, trade your truck in on a miata. lol.

I will try tackling it this weekend. Waiting on my crossmembers to come in anyway. I may just cut it out since it's starting to bend the show bracket from all the pounding.

another idea would be to wrap it in a towel soaked in lemon juice overnight.

So did the BFH do it? Funny, yesterday I just bought all four new shocks for my 77. I won't get a chance to get at them till next Monday. And I did go to Harbour Freight on Tuesday and did buy a bigger BFH!! I am going to start spraying things down in hopes of not having to do too much battle pounding the bolts out.

PS: After 33 years, the factory shocks SUCK!
