He also mentioned something about putting in a new ignition.. He said i can buy one at any auto parts store? Anyone know what he's talking about here..? Thanks
It is just the stock one they pulled up in their computer, but make sure you buy the motorcraft one because at first they gave me the first one their computer showed which ended up not working because it was one of those universal type parts. Thanks again for all the help guys!
my F150 had same problem, where I could only jump the relay to start truck. Replaced relay all is OK. The relay is basically just a switch between the key and the starter, and if there is no contact inside it, you can still jump it over the terminals to start. Check voltage at terminal from the key contact on the relay with key to the start position. If there is voltage there, its your relay

I have some pics of it, how do attach them?
unfortunately, FTE sets some pretty poor rules.. have to have 25 posts to post pics from your gallery or profile, have to be a paying user to attach them inline..
upload them free to photobucket and reference from there..
