Locker for 2WD

I'm looking into putting a Auburn locker in my 2006 F-150. Is there any way to find out what type of spline gear that I have without tearing it apart first? I'm using it everyday,so any help would be great.

What engine and axle do you have? If you have the 5.4L you have the 9.75 rear end. If you have either the 4.6 V8 or the 4.2L V6 you have the 8.8 Rear end. If you could get us some more specs on your truck, we could help you out a little more.

Are you looking for an e-locker or an automatic style (gear driven limited slip)?

I know the avle is an 8.8; But where can I find out what the spline count is? It's either a 28 or 31 tooth. But I nned the correct one to order the locker.
