I don't Know much about Locker but they lock bolth wheels up I was thinking I want a slectable Locker Like a ARB, OX Locker, Or a E Locker is their any others or is a limmted slip good for the front
Thanks
Bobby
If you can afford a front ox or arb, go for, they are the shiznat. Although some won't agree, I feel they are easier on your shafts because you don't have the shock of a locker actuating under load. Not that spools (which they are in effect once the selectables are locked in) are gentle on you. This is why limited slips are also good for front axles unless you have already beefed up your stock shafts...not the best off road but thats the
compromise. Lockers are awfull tough on front axles. Also depends on how you drive. My buddy has a front Dana 60 just like mine, with the Moser alloy shafts, and he STILL manages to break stubshafts. He's got a locker up front too. Bottem line, arb/ox etc. is the route I'd go...but if you drive aggressive, have big tires and a stock axle be prepared to invest in ctms and warn shafts
i'd vote for a selectable locker....the detroit electra locker is a locker that doubles as a limited slip when not engaged its currently available for dana 44's.
