SCORE!!!!!

I beat the rain to the upullit today and came out of there with the only 83-86 diesel instrument cluster they had. It has a tach as well. It aint for a manual but that don't matter for $25! Also the coresupport in it is in pretty good shape as well, they said about $40 for it. i think I mught try to getto the support this weekend or next. This body swap is getting a little closer all the time. All I need now is the flywheel and bell housing and it is on.

No way man! This truck is an ongoing work in progress lol. Some day I want to do the same things to that Dave has done to his 6.9. That has to wait for child support to end tho (8-9yrs) lol.Still need the turbo, d60 front, half cab (also after kids are grown) and anything else that tickels my fancy lol.

No my girlfriend named it a few yrs back when I first got it running as a gasser. It had parts from 6 different yrs of trucks and I had converted it back to carb and points. I wanted to call her "bad attitude too" after my 78 cj5 I used to have. But she said hell no that thing is a frankenstine monster. So it has stuck, I just call her frankie and we love each other lol.

I liked it. Thing is most people around here don't have any accent. Geuss cause is so close to cinci. Now if you go on down to where my family comes from (jackson county KY) you will here some accents lol. That is where we plan to move to in about 10 yrs. Now that is some pertty country.
