Computer processing speed isn't related to HP level, what is that statement based on?
i should rephrase that. the ecu can be tuned for an engine making about 800 above that the processing speed of the ecu is too slow to keep up with the demands for fuel and timing that the engine requires at higher rpms (i'm talking 7000 and above) the first thing the ecu does is pull fuel (very bad) we finally figured that out the hard way and switched engine management systems

my motor is stroked to a 408 with good parts and aluminum heads with stronger springs, so it can go to 7k a stock one will start floating valves. we didn't just change the computer, we switched to a fast xfi management system
