Well small injectors only need so much air. Standard stage 2's only need a single turbo and can still be responsive, tow ready, and do fair on the track. with stage 2's depending on weight of the truck and 2wd or 4wd you could possibly see 13's in the 1/4 with regular stage 2's with a turbo.
Well just to clarify I mean the sled pulling track. =) and I see so stage 2 wouldnt be over kill. Whats the biggest streetable injetors you can get for our trucks?
that all depends on how crazy you want to get, how much money you want to spend, your definition of "streetable" and whether you want that to be "streetable" and able to tow. You can get 455cc injectors if you want. you can also get up to 800% nozzles too IIRC. I'd say streetable 300% nozzle is about as big as your going to want if your not towing. may be able to run about 400cc through that and be streetable.
Streetable (My Definition) NO excesive black smoke (Like not smoking all the time) and I can tow the trailer. I want to be competitive but not going to throw huge piles of cash at it. But I will throw cash
if you dont want exsesive smoke then i wouldnt go any larger than stage 2s, my rebuilt turbo and new wheel completely cleans up all smoke on top end, but down low,(5 spd) she will smoke like a pig and you will feel like a jerk passing people or just speeding up. my turbo has no play either and im pretty sure its been threw its paces so far with the new sticks. but just 2s and a new lung, im sure that will be a killer combo.
I just dont want it to smoke the whole time it is on. I mean I like smoke when you tromp on it or when your pulling and such, and I want power, I want to have a fun little setup so I can just lol be young once.
