They are most all made by the same company so usually you can simply buy the cheapest one and still be ok.

I bought a BWD from O'Reillys when mine went out. Put it in and the truck still wouldn't start. Got one from IH and she fired right up. Another fella on here reported the same thing. Just FYI

Get one from Ford... My last one from there was only like $25.. Don't get the newer grey CPS though... I don't know what will come up for the '94.5, but i know for my '95 they don't sell the grey, they sell a good one that is dark grey w/ a bluish purple o-ring. These are better than the grey CPS they have now.

No problem Travis. I wrote some important things down on paper from here just in case my computer crashes............had it right in front of me, quicker than looking the thread up even.

Thanks for the info.I got one from Ford,up here they are 45.00 but it worked it seems.Only drove a few miles.I got to used the truck around the yard this morning with the old cps but it would only run for a minute or so and turn off, start right back up and run another minute or so.I got the number listed above and had it running for half hour or so and all it well I hope !
Thanks

Up here the parts are more from Ford but if 45.00 gets it going I'm fine with that.Strange thing i found though was during my problems my truck ran smoother when it did run than it ever has. It's always has had a bit of a shudder just around 1200 -1400 with no load. When trying it out this morning it ran perfectly smooth untill it would stall.Figured maybe with the new cps it would be good and it was the problem all along but tonight with the new cps it runs just like it always has, just happy right now if it stays running and doesn't leave me on the side of the road.
Thanks Again everyone

I just replaced mine with the IH number posted above. I was $26.10 plus tax. Its the dark grey with the purple oring and it works great for me.
