Heads
I've started to change my exhaust manifolds yesterday because they were cracked, split, broken, and holy. And much to my surprise (after ball peening the loose flaky rust) both heads had holes in the exhaust ports. So, does anyone have a pair of good head for sale? This is the plow truck for my apt house so I need to get it back together by snow fall. Thanks for your help.

Hi everyone....this is Jeremy's wife. He is VERY busy working 3 jobs at the moment. he is still very interested in these. We are located in Otego NY its about 2 hours south of Albany NY. We are willing to drive a few hours to pick them up if the price is right and they are in great condition. Thanks so much! beth

Sorry Its taken me so long to get back to this. I'm still looking for a pair of heads, also any pointers would be helpful. I'm a body guy not a mechanic. should I upgrade to studs even though its a N/A motor? What about gaskets, any special ones? Thanks for any help you can provide.

those heads on ebay aren't mine. Just forwarded them to you for an option. I do have a complete set not listed anywhere though. Head bolts should be fine, just check the leignth of them for excessive stretch.

Everyone around here complains in the winter when we get snow so the use alot of salt or a salt sand mix, and the everyone complains about the rust or taxdollar waste. Our roads are sometimes white and its not the snow its the dried on salt.
