Being aircraft inspector it hard to not keep it clean. But belive me it does get some dirt. I well be putting the front end back together soon. I want to say the rest of the truck well look just as good. I well be taking the running boards off and putting the truck on the rack to clean and paint the bottom of the cap and that part of the frame. Then the back well get everthing taken off like the front.

Hey firstrider what day are you coming to Talladega? I'm sitting about 2 miles from there right now at work. I live about 30 miles from the track. Might try and make it down to shake your hand if possible.

Lakotas53 , that would be great . Would like to check out your truck also .Dear daughter (firstriders_daughter on FTE ) lives in B-ham .Will let you know when the time get closer . Will most likely be after the race mon-wed.. Will only need to go just under 213mph .This car will be in period correct qualifing trim .The man that owns it is an areo guru .The car has been to the wind tunnel twice so far and may need to visit there again before the speed run .Some pics of his cars just so all know these are the real deal .The owner is quite secret about where he lives and what he has . I feel very fortunate to know him and be able to visit his home with the collection . Dale Jr was there a while ago and sat in the Wrangler car . Bill said is was quite the moving expierence for him.

That is Bill in the yellow hat . These pics were taken at the Lake Mirror Classic Auto show in Lakeland ,Fla 2 yrs. ago.Booby Allison was there. Bill picked him up at the airport .
