Well...wait a minute. YOU are the one who wanted to impune wix filters, sold by Napa, but so far you have refused to back that up in any way shape or form. Is that how you operate? Make blanket statements with zero facts behind them and then bail when somebody calls you out on it?

I don't need to assume anymore, you have laid it out for all to see. Thanks for the stellar contribution.

My summary of this thread:

BG posts asking recommendations.

Someone posts an opinion on parts recommended.

BG gets all pissed and starts calling names and hitting below the belt...continuously.

I feel like im reading a bully chasing a kid around on Myspace.

It could be that, or it could have to do with volume purchasing.

No, he's not a bully, he's just unchallenged. Like when he said, "Problem is, some research indicates that Napa branded parts are most often made by the more premium manufacturers", and yet no one called him on it. Then he said about others, "Make blanket statements with zero facts behind them", which of course is exactly what he did in the prior post that the first quote came from. Yet again, no one called him on it.

So more to the point, your 'summary of this thread' should've been to always challenge the challenger.

so funny after doing some looking, Wix filters arent just sold by napa as BG claims and the number one filter claimed by 3 websites that I looked up just to shut up a wix fan is the purolater filter, in this line up, the wix was 8th and I also thought it was funny that fram (not a fan of even) was 5th. good night all, im sure when i sign on sometime tomorrow, I see some complaining in here, especially by BG. thanks for the laughs

You wouldn't if you posted the links to those 3 websites you just mentioned that you found the claims on.

Because Autozone does that much more volume than Napa? Enough that a premium ball joint from Autozone is fully half as much as the Napa premium? That seems highly unlikely to me.

Sonny, you should have stayed in school. Not only is your spelling and punctuation atrocious, but now your reading and comprehension are in serious question.

Nowhere did I say Wix was only sold by Napa. Please show me where I said this or kindly stop putting words in my posts

Even though this continues to throw my own thread OT. Here is the most commonly referenced oil filter link. Do you really want to stick with the notion that Fram is a better filter than Wix after reading this?

All this arrogance from the same guy that insists that he can swap a 4R100 in place of a 4R70W without changing the PCM. Something that's electrically impossible.

16 posts since you registered, and only ONE is even somewhat credible. Sounds like a good start to me.
