Door emblem

Hey can anyone tell me what year this emblem is from my EX is a 03 but from what im told they didnt come with the powerstoke door emblem i need one for the other side i ordered one from ford but it is wrong. Thanks

They were used on 2003 models per the websites I came across. I found them for $34 for one, but found 2005-2007 emlbems for 39, so why not get 2 new ones from 05-07?

Here is a link, if I do this right.... This was posted on here somewhere a while back. I have an '03 also, but put the '05 emblems on mine, I just liked them better. BTW, I believe that all excursions were originally totally de-badged, so the emblem that you have on yours was probably added at some point. Mike

Pretty sure that the emblems did not come stock on your X. When I purchased my X, I thought the same thing.

Ok cool thanks for the help I think ill just remove the one i got now whatr kind of problems with my paint can that cause and any ideas on taking it off.

Yep... This works like a charm... Use a hair dryer and heat up the emblem... since the emblem is mounted on with double stick tape (it should be), the heat will release the adhesive and it will pull off with no problems. I've used this method numerous times to remove emblems as well as those stupid dealer emblems.

If needed use 3M General Purpose Adhesive Cleaner # 08987 (15 oz spray) to remove any residue. BTW... this cleaner is the BEST at removing tar too... prior to using a clay bar.
