PDB-A is a 65-66 Cruise O Matic. Thats if the tag is on right trans. Pic or how many pan bolts? Most likely the C/M trans. Is the bell housing removable?
Bill; when I get trans pan gaskets these local computer counter guys; they ask ask if its a C-4 C-6 etc; and then I check the bolt holes to ensure I get the right pattern; expecially C-6 verse what I though was a C/M style.
Didn't know there where all consider Cruise-o-matic's; Is the one I'm calling a C/M a FMX?

Just because the pan gasket has 14 holes, does not mean it's correct, because there are TWO different types!

The MX (once known as the BIG Cruise-O) C-O-M pan has the same number of bolt holes (14) as the FX/FMX pan, but it's not the same pan, as it has a notch in it...the others do not.
The same MX pan gasket was also used in 1955/57 Thunderbirds with the Ford-O-Matic 3 speed...in fact, that's what the part number reflects.
