Low Range
My 2003 f-150 will not start my dash board say low range and it make a weird noise when i start it,but like I said nothing happens.Does the low range have anything to do with it?Please Help.

Does it crank normally? Or is it cranking very slowly, and hence the weird noise?
Sounds like the 'Low Range' indicator may just be part of the normal starting process, as most of the warning lights will illuminate when you start your vehicle to make sure the bulb works.
Also, if you could give us some information on your truck, that may be useful: year, model, motor, transmission, etc.
