The front is lowered with DJM ibeams and Lightning coil springs. The rear is the DJM shackle and hanger kit. Since this picture I got the back down another 3/4 of an inch by removing one leaf spring.

I drilled the holes out with a 11/16 drill bit and used washer type lug nuts I ordered on ebay.

wheels

Did you have to change the studs or anything? Do you have a part # on lug nuts?

You should replace all the shocks while you are doing it but you dont HAVE to replace the fronts. The dream beam shock mounts are still the same height so you dont have to get drop shocks.

Very easy to install. Biggest PITA for me was the long bolt that goes through the beam and to the coil spring.

I wish I could afford those 18's but im gone on the cash side. Soo all I need to do is find wheels off of a 3rd gen lightning like that and drill the holes 11/16s and use flat lugnuts? that sounds simple enough.

You will definitely need new shocks for the rear. I replaced my fronts as well but from what I hear you do not have to.

As for the difficulty of replacing the ibeams, it's really not that bad. I went through my entire front end while installing the ibeams. New radius arm bushings, all 4 ball joints, shocks, and installed the new ibeams on a Saturday. Took most of the day but if your only doing the ibeams it will not require as much work.

I'm not sure what shocks were on my truck when I bought it but when I install the shackles only it road like crap. That was just a 2 inch drop. When I added the hangers I went ahead and replaced the shocks because they were already bottoming out with just 2 inches of drop so I knew with a total of 4inches of drop the truck would have been a kidney buster.

As a side note: When you do lower the back make sure u check the bump stops. They will probably need to be cut some to allow the axle to have more travel.

They arnt shorter. They are designed for lowered trucks so they are setup for less suspension travel and I guess stiffer to keep from bottoming out.
