Im not normally a fan of lowered trucks but I must say that is one of the most tastefully done lowered trucks Ive seen on here. None of those airbags or giant rims and such. I like it. Looks like its going fast when its standing still.

Ahh i see, i was just confused, idek if the ones that were on it were stock. My friend needed drop shocks for his becuase he went waay down and had to notch the frame and instead of paying $50 a piece for belltech drop shocks he did the bookwork and found that the front shocks on a 78 79 chevy truck, that body style, 2 wheen drive, the front shocks are the exact as the belltech, like same specs and everything, so he got those for like $18 a piece haha

Ive been curious on about that too. Ive been wanting to get a set for a long time but cant afford it yet and I was affraid of those LEDs because theyre really strict around here on light laws. I didnt want to spend all of that money just to find out they get me in trouble.

Is it illegal to have clear bumper lights without the amber corner in your area?

No but from the pictures it always looks like the leds would shine blue, maybe just me, but even that isnt illegal but frowned upon here, they dont like the blue headlights and all that, i barely get by with they smoked lights and even then ive been pulled over twice for it and had to turn them on to prove it shines through in the correct colors.

Soo my trucks going to get painted, not until alot of body work, which will be quite a ways down the road. Im going for a fiberglass front clip, custom fiberglass panels for the interior, custom sub box with the subs mounted show style in reverse, its gonne get new exhaust, through the fender in front of the rear tire, shaved door handles, custom mirrors, cowl hood, lightning front bumper/valance, narrowed 9 inch rear, hidden antenna, Sparco seats, the list goes on, as i get major body work done its prolly gonna get hit with some blitz black JD paint just to keep things clean and rust free until i get everything else done and to keep things cheap. Im really interested in a single stripe from front to back, offset on the driver's side, like alot of european stuff, idk i just really like it. I wanna go with a suddle color on the base color and a wild color for the stripe, or maybe reversed, idk. Like a charcoal grey with a lime green stripe or maybe a bright orange. I messed around with a picture I have and some colors just to see, let me know what u think, maybe suggest some other colors or somethin.

yeah, I liked the grey with the blue and the other way around. Idk, i think that if I were to come up with the right shades of grey and green that would be beautiful. Just wanna keep an open mind, anyone else have any ideas?

Ive gotten my new sub box about half way done, hit a road block since this happened...

The main box is built and about half of the fiberglass is done. As soon as i get the rest coated in fiberglass it will get sanded down as smooth as i can get it and painted. Here are some pics

ill post pics of it when its finished

Lol at particleboard. Might want to start over and use some 3/4" MDF or Birch before you go any further. Also are those holes for 6x9s? lol

Isnt this the "show me your dropped F150s" thread?

Ive made treated particle board boxes and wrapped them in fiberglass that are just as good if not better than any MDF box. yes they are 6x9 but without them it doesnt sound right. when i get the fiberglass work done and get it sanded and painted it will look good and sound amazing.

as far as the thread thing...A, this is the box im making for my 93 f150, its an extended cab and ive laid the seats down and this is going in the back, B...im the one who started this thread...

Oh and
Keep us posted on your project
