thanks for the help, i'm in texas, where's joey located at, and if you were to guesstimate how long does the whole process of the modd usually take before i'd be able to see it again. and would he be able to fix the leak on the inservicable plug or do i fix it prior to sending him the the hpop? thanks

Just send the pump to him and he will fix that oil leak and change everthing for you. I sent my pump to him from Hawaii on Monday and had it back at my house on Friday.....fast service. Dident do any data logging but i can feel the difference.
alright guys i appreciate the help. getting it modded sounds like the plan, and the price is great. i stumbled upon how much that adrenaline HPOP cost ...and yeah that's not happening anytime soon. but to have the leak fixed and modded for 100 Bucks,!!! you can't beat that. thanks for the look out guys.

Just clean and scrub off as much of the garbage on the outside of the HPOP as you can, before sending it to Joey. One of the things he told me he hates is when guys send them their HPOP with years of oily dirt and crud impacted on the outside, and he has to spend time cleaning the darn thing before he can even start working on it.
I agree with him too. Guys should be cleaning the heck out of their HPOP before sending it in, instead of leaving it to Joey.

And wrap it in a plastic bag. That way if any oil leaks out of the pump,it won't soak threw the box.
What part of Texas are you in? I'm in North Texas and I have an extra engine that we could pull the HPOP off of to put on your while you send yours in to Joey to be upgraded.

That right there is good stuff. As for Joey complaining about crud, get a parts cleaner. I would think he had one and if he does not then well.....I don't really have to comment do I?

Maybe Joey adding a HPOP cleaning service charge for those gunked up pumps would get those pumps cleaned before he got them.

It aint just the crud, it's the baked on, long-term leaking crud that covers the HPOP. Why should he be someones maid or parts cleaner? Why shouldn't the owner make sure and clean their part so it's at least serviceable, before sending it in?
It's more than common courtesy, it's downright wrong for someone to do that.
