Question Hub Assembly Purchase

Hey guys, where or who should I buy hub assemblies from? I'm trying to find some reputable folks to buy these things. I would like Timken brand for my replacement, which I think is what comes stock but not sure. Unless there is another brand that's better please let me know. A list of companies online would be great. I've been looking on ebay but haven't found anything but a bunch of no name brand parts. I know I can count on everyone here for quality parts. Thanks in advance.

Been there done that. They are heavy and shipping will set you back some. Do some homework like you are doing now.

I got one at Orielly's last week for $114. We'll see how it hold up.

Probably just as well as mine or any other. That is a good price. None of these last forever anyway so WTH?

Thats a good price? My Oreillys here wanted $279, and the warehouse is in Springfield about an 1.5 hours away. I went to the salvage yard and got 2 for $95.

The Master Pro brand is made by Federial Mogul. It should hold up fine. If mine go out I'll probably buy the some ones and the man before me did. I work for the company so...Gotta keep myself employed somehow lol.

Thanks for the input fellas, I appreciate it. I've done business with Ed in the past and he is great. But yes I would like to save on shipping cause they are heavy. I didn't know autozone had them. I may have to check the local store. I'll let you know what I come up with. Thanks again.

One of the things that keeps me buying from Ed is that he'll be up-front honest with you every time about what shipping will do to your order. He's told me once or twice already "With the shipping charges you might as well pick that up locally if they have it."

Something heavy like that... I'd try and find comparable quality parts locally.
