Question FTE Parts Guy

Have many of you have ordered parts from this company? I am in need of new front hub assemblies and some steering parts. What makes me nervous is the prices they have listed. Are these factory parts or aftermarket that they are selling? If they are aftermarket, are they quality brands?
Just looking for input.
Thanks

He's a Ford part house and a member here. Good stuff and great guy from what I've read. I got a list of stuff for him to get me when I get the $$$.

Just ordered from him. Great guy! OEM parts just like your local Ford dealer but way better prices from someone who actually knows what they are talking about.

Ed is a great person to order parts from. I have ordered several items from him. Picked most up at his office. Nice guy to meet in person too.

I ordered a set of X-code springs from Ed and received them last week. Even with shipping, he was cheaper then the local Ford dealer. No sales tax is an added plus also....

I ordered a parking brake assembly from him and it was about half what the dealer wanted. Later I emailed him about the plastic cap on my tailgate and he said since it was an odd size that shipping would eat up any savings and could probably get from my local dealer cheaper. Point is, if he can't get you the best deal he will let you know, not just sell to you to make a sale.

I have priced parts from him, but never ordered because I had up to now found prices that were just a few dollars less at our Y2K Discount Ford Parts site sponsor. I honestly don't mean to take anything away from Ed... I've talked with him and he seems to be a great guy, but I have to watch my pennies very close... Both Ed (FTE Parts Guy) and Kenny (at Y2K) have the OEM factory parts at excellent prices, and I'm sure that Ed is cheaper on some things, they just haven't been the ones I needed at the time, and in all honesty, the difference has only been a couple dollars each time I compared. I only mentioned this so you can have another parts option if Ed ever does not have what you need in stock and you need it really fast.

I started to mention that as well, Tom, but it got lost in my attempt to try to make sure my comments towards Ed were not negative.

Well I can tell you that my experience so far is very good. The customer service has been better than expected. This will definitely not be the last time I deal with Ed.
Thanks for all your input guys.

I have not ordered anything from him yet, but I have priced things and he always is very nice about it and has gone out of his way to get me prices. I will order something from him one day.
