Scratched Side Windows

Hey all, I have an 07 F350 Lariat Crew with both front side windows scratched. I saw the service bulletin put out by Ford referencing the possibility of windows being scratched due to the window seals not making good contact allowing dirt, rocks, and other debris to get trapped in there causing scratches when the window is actuated up or down. My window seals are in good shape and I have managed to get all the debris out.

Does anyone know if the glass can be polished to get the scratches out or at least blend them in? I thought I saw a product out there which restores glass and removes small scratches. Does anyone know of such a product and where to get it.

Thanks

Question about service bulletin

Where can I find the service bulletin to this particular problem? My windows are all scratched up.

Depending on how deep the scratches are, you might not be able to do anything with them. If you think that you can you should be able to find a hard felt wheel in the dremel kits, or something like it in the hardware store. You can use something like a jeweller's rogue as your buffing compound. Might need to go over it and work it some tho to see results. Make sure you start with a clean window, because you don't want to be adding any grit like sand to the mix. You might also want to tape off areas that will be hard to clean after with the rogue flying all over, makes for easier clean up.

You can find it under the Recalls/TSBs tab at the top. It was under 2005-06 F350.
Here is the link.

I saw a product they used on Power Block Tv about six months ago, where they restored a windshield on an old 47 Chev P/U that had some pretty bad wiper scratches. I wish I could remember what is was called. It turned out fantastic.
