Hopefully next week I will beable to remove both fenders & a 65 steel grille from a 65 F100 in a salvage yard near me! (about and hour drive) These pup's are getting harder to find in my area. Great price on the manuals for sure!

While driving out to Lodi today, with my brother, he is telling me about the red 66 F100 he got real cheap with a 351C installed in it. He traded it to a friend who likes to hit the junk yards of the Central Valley. Apparently there are a lot of the 60's trucks showing up with some in very good condition. His friend has laid hands on my great parts along with a lot of sheet metal. The only thing he couldn't grab was several pristine beds that he ran across at a Pick & Pull since he was by himself. I think Camper Don would have a field day here.

LOL....the last truck I parted I parted thowoughly..Im quite **** about the nit pick type stuff...fasteners in some cases...they survive wonderfully in the desert areas...as far as beds...If one totally cherry longbed Styleside with the bedside toolbox is found...let me know...the other thing that makes me turn away at times is the umpteen holes in the tops of the bed rails...I am after a solid, unchopped 65 cab if theres one to be had at a good price...OE paint is ideal...if you can get a whole intact one for cheap...holler...oh yeah...4 speed truck too...and if at all possible, a radio delete truck..
As far as the other stuff I scavenge off of them...LOL...Last one went to scrap minus its front clip less hood...got a perfect steering wheel too...in my color even..But let me know what you come up with...I do very much need a firewall insulation pad...its a 65-6 F100-250 2WD truck only piece...

Post pics or email what ya run across...
