That's great danger-ranger93. It would be some great info for Dutter and he'll surely appreciate your input. Ofcourse Dutter maybe decides to make some custom ones and trust me custom is the way to go if your skilled.
Yeah that smog stuff is because of the south city people, Im up in Nor-cal up in woods, and thats why CA has a bad rep and has all the stupid laws is because people from south CA, with there city gangs and pollution, And then they come up here and they will be just the biggest *******s to us so called rednecks and cut down every tree and put up these big silver fences, Its just stupid, but the smog shops in North Ca are pritty cool, But i think ill look into buying some, I did have a good idea on making some, But im still not sher

*******s, well it's not that bad if you spend your money on them. They will help your truck alot. Plus there is always time to build ones yourself in the near future. Well danger-ranger93 said he would post about what he thought of his new shorty headers. I hope he remembers lol.
Stay away from CAI, KN, chips, throttle body spacers etc. I see you have some type of custom intake. If its a hot air intake put the stock parts back on.
What kind of exhuast do you have?
I agree about advancing the timing a little.
A good tune up and some fresh fluids is a good place to start.

Conanski has some good advice too.
Agree with you 100% TexasGuy001. All those things are crap and don't help your truck at all. Cold air intakes pfft. All they do is take in hot blasting air from the fan cooling the radiator. If you want to increase performance you would have to tune your computer with a real tuner not no chinese/japanese chip. The only way you would get cold/fresh air into your system is with RAM air hood or a Cowl hood that is raised in the back.
ok,, yep my fluids are always checked and changed, the in take i did was a round K&N with a fat aluminum pipe to replace the bumpy rubber part, And the exhaust is a Dynomax that i have cut back and put on a fat tip for better sound, the only reason why the intake has a AMS oil stick is because im sponsored by them and has TONS of there stickers and it looked good there too,,lol

True ram air would be cool. The Cervinis hood and air intake setup is cool, but costly. You can get cooler air with the I6/460 intake tube.
That intake is not going to help anything at all. The stock setup is superior to that. Better yet, get the I6 tube.
Thats interesting a tip on the back of a muffler under the bed. I have not seen that before. Usually its a turndown. I would put a turndown on it. Why not get a universal hanger instead of bailing wire? I'm glad you have a Dynomax muffler and not a Blowmaster.
