This is the one where Ford lets us customize it with whatever info we find useful; Oil Pressure, Voltmeter, Pyrometer, after they release the API's and a SDK for the Dash interface.... I can dream can't I.

 

Second page is a nice compass. I too would like to be able to monitor the fuel pressure, oil pressure and other niceties. I had an Edge Insight in my old truck. I liked it a lot.

 

I can get the dash computer to say around 26-27mpg at 45mph cruising. If it hits into a regen it will get between 11-13mpg untill the regen is done. Massive hit in my opinion. Not 1-3tenths of a mpg

I will stand by my numbers. I have watched the fuel computer every time I have noticed the regen message. I have not seen a cumulative loss of more than 3 tenths before the mileage begins to rise again. I do not reset the computer to see what it is doing at that exact moment when it goes regen so you could be right in the short term. Overall, I am seeing 18 to 19 mixed driving and 20 plus highway. Hand calcs are within a tenth or two of the computer. Not worth worrying about.

Im just watching the instant based on my current average line. I dont actualy reset it or anything but the instant does show below my average which usualy shows 12-13.6 on the dash. As far as how long it will last, My guess is 5-10minutes. I never timed that though.

 

I am going to try to time the period from regen notice to the start of the rise back up to normal mileage next time I see the regen message. It seems to be 5 minutes or so but...

 

I only notice mine drop a few tenths during regen as well, nothing like what you are seeing Radzer. Wonder why the difference?

 

Set your average on the dash to one line every 5min and try to keep the same driving style when a regen hits.. than compare in city driving the first to the line during regen.. the hit may be higher on mine because i try to keep around 45mph which gets me into 6th gear at around 1050rpm.. if u could keep it at that rpm it could actualy get around 34mpg on flat land.. at that rpm there is still enough *** behind it to keep it moving steady
