I was talking to a local spring shop about new front springs, and to my suprise they said that some F250's had optional 2" front blocks.
Is this true?
If so, how will it affect front end heighth compared to rear end heighth?
I have never heard that, and personally would not feel comfortable putting blocks under the front. I will be putting 2" shackles under the front of mine in a couple of weeks. With 4" blocks under the rear to replace my 2" blocks.
Yeah, it seemed far fetched to me too. It would throw off the camber on this stupid IFS or whatever its classified as.
My friend convertered from 2" blocks to 4" blocks on the rear of his '04. It actually sits level now rather than having its nose up in the air. It looks 10x better.
I thought '99 F250's had 4" blocks from the factory?
If i am not mistaken The Early 99's had 4" blocks the late 99's came out with 2" blocks.
Any SuperDuty prior to 4/99 is considered early, and after 4/99 is considered late.
There were a few other small differences.
Mine was built 4/26/99
I have a late 99 SuperCab and I bought my wife has a 2000 SuperCrew. The odd part is there is only 4 1/2 months between the build dates on the 2 trucks!!!
