Hello everyone. Its been awhile since I posted anything between work and sidework I have been swamped. Well to begin I have another question and maybe someone has run into this before. To begin let me tell you what ive replaced on my truck.I have installed a new master cylinder, power booster and brakepedal assy from a 76 F150 that I know works, had my drums turned, installed new brake shoes, spring hardware, wheel cylinders, and lubed the backing plate where the shoes rub. After bleeding the brakes I notice Istill dont have much pedalbut it stops good enuff for a test ride. Going down the street in front of my house it would stop but barely. I mean I was stomping/straightlegging the brakepedal and from 30mph it took 50ft. I get out and feel the drums and only the front are hot. What the hell!!!!! Im 300$bucks into this and still no binders!!!! Has anyone got any experience, know how or magic that they could share to help me with this? Thanks in advance.

Reason: dont look like everyone elses
The power booster and the brake pedal and rod were taken out and installed together. The MC is straight from Oreillys brand new. I was told I could use any booster from 73 to 79 as long as I took and used the hardware from said booster such as the pedal and booster rod.
Are the rear shoes adjusted out until there's just a slight drag on the drums? they should "catch" before the fronts do, did you bench bleed the master cylinder? you may have to go around bleeding the brakes 4 or 5 times to get all the air out.
I have the same problem with my 73 4x4. Dont know if they came that way but mine has no power booster The P.O installed new MC and front WCs. I replaced all the brake shoes, and still I have to stand in the brakes to get the truck stopped. The pedel is on the floor.
