Most Miles

In my quest to find out how long a motor lasts and is reliable, I am asking to see how many miles are on your Ford F150's.

How many miles do you have on your F150!

This is an interesting thread. Ford motors have a great reputation for longevity. I have drove a couple off 150s in years past with over 300,000 miles with very little problems. Probably a few 04s with over 100,000 Im guessing.

'04 with 165,000, I work this truck hard and would not hesitate to jump in right now and drive to the left coast. It is very dependable machine, and a pleasure to drive.

95K on my 07, surely wouldn't call that high miles. So far so good, but the cam phasers/valve lash adjusters sure are getting noisy...

I had a 05 V6 130,000 on the clock when a lady ran a stop sign and killed my baby. That would take a lot for such a small truck. Never had one prob truck never had a prob and I beat it up bad

'04 XLT HD extended cab, 140,000 miles, Full size (8') bed, everything is original stock. I have and will fill the bed to the side rails to haul rock, gravel, dirt, and even 10' logs (to the have milled into lumber). This truck is no stranger to the county land fill. I have been known to hook up dump trailers but not often.
I also do all my own maintenance and keep an accurate record of total cost of ownership.
This truck works for a living. Former Fords usually go over 200,000 miles before the records start to show an increase in ownership costs. At that time I start to consider a new truck.
No I am not Ford tech, or work for any vehicle service company. I am just a systems engineer who likes to work with my hands for exercise and hobby activities.
