my brake Portioning vlave is leaking, According to NAPA they cannot sell any of these valves since it is a liabity issue. WTF??!!!! i mean i can understand a used one but a new one? Autozone does not and cannot order these along with checker,oriley atuo parts. so where can i get this part other than the Stealership( assuming that they have it)?

I don't get the liability issue. They sell calipers, wheel cylinders, drums, rotors and everything else related to the brake system. Why would the proportioning valve be a liability issue?
Also, Inline tube sells them, LMC too.
If it's leaking at the warning light switch (common problem), you can replace just the switch. These are available from LMC, NPD, etc. If I'm not mistaken, they are still available from Ford.
Altough, looking closer at the pictures, it looks like it might be leaking at the pin.
yeha i will have to wait till this sat though, got to wait till i can get the new valve in, and i gotta do the rears too, should stop a hell of alot better!!!!!
pretty sure its not the swtich and after all it has been there since 79, pretty sure it is the original, will have to clean it off and see if it still has Ford stamped on it
