Thanks guys! I worked on the floor for a month straight! and i went through about 6 or 7 rolls of wire through my buddies hobart! Haha im glad he let me borrow it, because in the mean time i taught myself how to mig weld with his welder, and it wasnt all the pleasant in a 95+ degree summer weather!

Just curious what your age is? Not in a mean way, but if you're young welding is a good career to get into.
and Bullit, ill be 16 in 3 weeks, and im a pretty good MIG welder, and i recently picked up a free Lincoln 225amp (220v) Arc welder, the old guy said it didnt work.....so i fixed the mangled up ground clamp with a new one, and it works like a dream! So i torn it all apart, vacuumed it all out, sanded it, and painted it IH red! I named her "Wendy" the welder, because i was bored one day
Ranger, In another post I made the comment that it looked like you were in the ~5% of "kids" that I have respect for (I'm an old goat myself), it looks like I was right.
You've done a really good job on your truck and teaching yourself a skill to boot.
Good job "kid".
Thanks Mike, ive been welding with "Wendy" for a little while now....and ive come to know what to do and what not to do...just the other day i got a nice 220v shock up the arm....then i was putting a new rod in the clamp and i got that tingly feeling in my arm

Yeah, THAT tingly feeling you deffinitely want to avoid!
Also, welding while standing in a puddle.....not advisable. Don't ask how I know.
Normally when somebody starts talking diamond plate and our old trucks I cringe thinking here comes some serious red neck fixes... That looks very nice! great save and at a great price!
