Well, at least I know where to start looking. Mine is an 04 V10, and the green light comes on on the dash, but no cruise.

I have the green light on the dash but no cruise also. I bought and installed the upgraded switch for the master cylinder. but that did not fix the problem. I guess the next thing to try will be the servo. I have a 2002 V10. John

My CC has been out for 5 years. Ford wanted way to much to fix it (I figured I had already donated way to much to Ford when I bought my ex so giving them more for repairs wasnt going to put a smile on my face either) recall did not work for me. But will one day do something about it as Im tired of leg cramps from 232 mile a day one way trips.
Great info. will def try these repairs.

Does anyone know of a source for a rebuilt or aftermarket cruise control servo?

I tried several wrecking yards in my area - none had them in stock but all could get one in a day or tow. The price was consistently $75 for a used one with a guarantee that it would be functional (this was for a 2003 5.4L).
