Yes that is how mine are held in place so it should work the same.

 

Well I talked to the parts guy at my local dealer. He said he would match any online or local parts place price I found. I had gone in to have a couple PATS keys cut, that I had bought online. He cut the keys for free, gave me a key code printout, and told me they want my business. Hmm.

 

Sorry i havent got a picture of the spare emblem i have, but i looked at it yesterday and its not in as good of shape as i thought it was, probably nothing you would want. Sorry

It was bound to happen sooner or later, dealers realizing most of us will wait a few days to get parts via mail. I hope my local dealer comes to the same epiphany as yours has!

 

Yeah I have an 07 and both of the emblems are starting to discolor it looks like they will start to peal soon. I wonder if this is something that Ford would make good on and give you new emblems. I will go up to my dealer and ask them.

Yeah but I wonder if they will make good on it because the truck is still under warranty? So far they have been good with anything wrong with the truck. It has mostly been stupid things like bad door switch and other small issues.

 

I just had both of mine replaced on my 2007 under warranty.

 

Warranty, then sure! Mine didn't start delaminating until after the 3/36K warranty

 

My 3/36k warranty is up but I also bought the extended warranty so I have to check my extended warranty to see if its still covered.
