Header help

I have a 1970 F-100 with a 302 attached to a c-4. I recently replaced the transmission and now my driver's side header is hitting the frame at the collector ring. Any ideas how to remedy this, short of buyin a better fitting set of headers? Is it possible to perhaps put a small spacer/shim in at the motor mount? I have tried shifting the motor around on the mount towers but without much, if any change to the problem. Thanks for any help.

now dont quote me on this but i think shimming the motor mounts will throw off the pinon angle of ur driveshaft causing vibrations.

It won't throw off the pinion enough to change anything. I would shim it. Just a piece of quarter inch plate would probably do the trick.

put a jack handle or spud bar in the header and pull it away from the cross member you can tweak them some to clear things.
