My gauge and or sending units started acting up. The gauge was not give the correct temp reading. So I checked the sending units first and noted the single post sending units post was loose. So ordered replacements for both sides. So replaced the single post unit first to see the results before making any other changes. Now the gauge needle sweep to almost cold than as the engine warms up the needle moves to Hot. By this time the engine is at normal operating temperature. Next step was to replace the dual post unit, with the same results as above. So is there an adjustment that can be made to the gauge? What do you all think?
Could be a bad Runtz, if you can switch with a different one that would be a good test. I don't know a bad one would behave like that tho. I don't think a bad gauge would do that either. Do you have a mech gauge to check that it isn't reading correctly for some reason? Like if a thermostat was sticking?

I've checked (with infrared thermometer) to make sure everything and both heads read (165) with in a few degree of each other.
