The last fellow I responded to on here who was looking for help with locating a steering box for his 1950 truck ended up being from Nigeria! Don't get me wrong I tried to help him out but eventually figured out he was not really in need of a box after all

Do you need just one grill bar and a total of 6 teeth to make one custom grill for your Merc?

Your profile says your from Arizona, what part of Arizona as maybe someone on here is close by that can help you out, I have a couple extra grills kicking around for a 51 52 but I think they are worth there weight in gold so maybe,

Also check Ebay I have seen a few of them on there recently, probably can get a good deal on one from there right now, thats why I still have so many extras right now because they just are not selling for what I would like to get for one of mine.

oh, by the way. Your spelling and grammer is very similar to the last person's also. (this coming from someone who also can't spell )

I could ship to Arizona or depending on where your at deliver or meet you? (prefer not to ship to Belgium or France, or Nigeria)

I'm not paranoid< Just wondering where critterthb is? I didn't intend to run anybody off, I like Mercury's too I think I even heard of people using an (51 52) grill in a Merc before.
I think I have about 6 or 7 extra ones I can sell and I have Family in Arizona

J/K jmadsen, Im in Surprise thats west Phoenix..Funny you say that I ran into some fella on autotraider.com same story he wanted some kinda eBay wire transfer and refused to meet when i said i could drive 5 hours and meet in person. Im just your average everyday gun toteing redneck from Az and i appolagize for the txt and grammer(Uhg!! now I feel self conscious about my typing skillz).. Im thinking I need two grill bars and six teeth..Im not shure one grill bar will span the whole length of the grill Ill get a measurement tomorrow..The car is in the shop getting a 4 in chop otherwise Id get it now.. Firstrider Im not in a big hurry..Ive checked eBay and havent had anny luck..Meeting in person is always good.. (no surprises)

Hey,

I am in Tucson for another month before I move to England and I have an extra grill (complete) thats in pretty good shape, few small dings and no rust.

I saw grilles like that at the last two swaps I was at. Probably could have taken one home for $50 or so. (I wish '57 grilles were as easy to find. Maybe they are, if you're not looking for one.) Anyway, find out where the old car part swaps are happening near you and check them out.

You might try sending a PM to "51 PanelMan."

Also, I'm not quite sure how you are going to configure 6 bullets. Odd numbers work better.

I have a 3 bullet, 5 bullet and 7 buller grills. The mounting bolts are welded to the headlight sections and I have wing nuts that hold them on. They are all wired the same and have a universal cannon plug I can detach and reattach the wires on each. I have a full front tilt so swapping them out takes about 5 minutes:

Are you aware that there is a center tooth and a left and right tooth, it makes a difference when tring to build and grill with extra teeth.
