A/C Problems
Can someone tell me what this issue may be? Attempted to put in freon in the lower port, a/c guage showed warning and began to go into the red area. the compressor kicked in once, It began to charge but no cold air. Any ideas would be helpful!

Yes, I charged through to low side. I bought the truck last year with air not working. I figured I would try to charge it to see what the results would be. I may try to jump off the compressor to see if it is working properly, It did kick in when I first started to charge it, but quit.

I would suggest to use a manifold gauge set to view the pressure on the low and high side. Most common cause of no compressor on/off when the pressures are in range is a bad low pressure/clutch cycling switch. I have seen a few go bad in my experience.
If the high side pressure is high and the vent temperatures are also high it could be a plugged condenser or bad compressor.
