Hi all, I'm gonna finally tackle my steering issues and replace my tie rods (inners and outers). I found a supplier named World Suspension and they say that everything is OEM, although I don't think I've heard of them before or seen them on any boards. Does anybody have any experience with them or heard anything about them? Also, does anybody have a decent write up on the replacement?
I don't have a complete write-up, but the best way to get the old tie-rods out, is to remove the cotter pin, loosen the nut but do not remove it all the way just back it off about a 1/4 inch, then take a 16oz. hammer(preferably ballpeen but any will work) and solidly hit the knuckle where the tie rod inserts, the speed of your swing is what will knock it loose, if you hit it correctly, it should take 3-5 fast swings and it will drop, now remove your nut all the way.
What plgebbia said as far as removal. Also, compare prices to "Moog" steering parts. Moog are well respected and preferred by a lot of shops (even if you do not buy thru them or have them install them).

Reason: mis-spell
i did mine a few months ago. just back off the nuts enough to unsrew the old ends. spend the $15 and get a ball joint removal tool. its well worth the money. i meased how many treads were sticking out on my old tie rod ends and the screwed the new one in till they were in the exact same spot. i went and got a front end alignment and i was right on the money. no adjustment needed. i got my ends from napa and there greasable. no complaints yet on them.
