E40D Question...

The transmission in my truck has begun to shift hard, and it feels like it's jumping out of gear at higher speeds- almost like the torque converter is having some kind of issue. I changed the fluid and filter about 15K miles ago. I've been doing some research/searches on this site, and I've been getting a lot of returns on an electrical plug on the transmission that could have moisture in it which could be causing this issue.

Can anyone tell me where this plug is?

Thanks.

That would be the TR sensor on the drivers side of the transmission. Some call it the MLPS.

you may also want to clean the one on the passenger side, it goes to the shift solinoids

Does your speedometer work OK?
Is your RABS light on?
