You know its hard to say without driving it myself. I am pretty good with figuring out whats wrong with vehicles but only the ones I get to drive.
Based on the information given about the truck and what you have done so far then yeah I would change the shocks if it were mine. On an XL the factory shocks were most likely pretty crappie to begin with. Keep us updated I hope this works out for you.
Outstanding man glad to hear that!! Yeah I would go ahead and replace the front ones for sure. they may not be as bad as the back ones but still a good idea.
Thanks a ton for your help and support! I will update in a few weeks on the front update. I gotta save up more money for the front! They are way more expensive that the rears.
You should of seen those rear ones I pulled off. They were horrible!
I can imagine. A few years back I helped a buddy change out his rear on his Dodge and those things didn't even come close to rebounding. They were so bad that when we pulled one out and let go it just collapsed right back down. Similar to a rear gate on a jeep would when the hydro supports are shot.
If you get a chance post a picture of the truck. Wouldn't mind seeing the F350 either.
Well you can post in your garage under your personal info pretty easy just by up loading photos from your computer. But to get them into a thread on the forums best to upload them to photobucket or imagine shack or something similar and then you can copy them to the thread.
Notice the right shock. It has a bend in it and it would not rebound at all. The left one takes ten minutes to rebound....I cant believe this is from FORD!

Well unfortunately that is one of the down sides to the XL model is it has some cheap *** parts on it. Anyway it looks like you got most of the issues taken care of now.
