2003 Expedition EB DVD problem

2003 Expedition EB DVD problem
I have a 2003 Expedition EB with the factory installed overhead DVD. The DVD player reads the DVDs fine, but when you press any of the buttons, it ejects the disc. All buttons do this EXCEPT the eject button. Any suggestions?
DVD model is Delphi Delco PM2L1T10E947AJBJNI (non wireless model) with 12 pin output
