07 Expetition DVD Player problems

I have a 2007 Eddie Bauer Ford Expedition with DVD system.

It took a DVD in, but is giving a BAD DISC error on the monitor screen and is locked up. Will not eject, play, show a menu, nothing.

I can't even select DVD on my navigation screen. If you try to select it, it automatically changes to FM stereo.

Anyone know how to get the DVD out and get it back wroking correctly?

I do not know the DVD players in these things, but typically there is a tiny pin hole you can get a paperclip into that will auto eject anything.

I've never seen the pin hole on a DVD system that was trayless. The DVD in the Ford system is a trayless type. The DVD gets sucked in and pushed out by a roller system. The clip trick only works with the tray since the clip physically "shoves" the tray out of the player.
