Right turn clunk
Right turn clunk
Hey guys....i've noticed that when i make a right turn and apply throttle i get a bit of a clunk in the driveline....oddly it doesn't do it turning left......anyone have any ideas???
Ryan,
I had problems with a "dry" U-joint (and "assembly")causing a similar scenario-in fact its time for me to look at mine again.
The TSBs also mention something similar but that is in the AWD or 4WD mode- and that suggests the front tire pressures being possibly suspect (iirc).

LOL Bill...now that was funny! We could take that thread for a mile or two...

yep....its not a ball joint....they're all new....(by the way...if any parts guys tell ya you have to change the whole lower arm.....they're on crack).....the part is listed under a 05....but not an 07.......same lower ball joint....
Ok, the ball joints and sway bar end links are new.
Now is the cluck the same as the sound you had before you changed these? If it's different, then I'd say it's not a problem with one of the new ball joints or end links. If it's the same sort of noise, then check those new parts out. You could have something that came loose or was damaged (there really are lots of forces applied to front suspension components) or you installed defective parts.
Rule that stuff out and move to other possible sources.
