Same here....there weren't as many people lighting fireworks on our block this year....in fact there were only two families doing it, and only one of them were lighting a lot of them.
Unfortunately for us, that was the family right across the street. :cough:

Sick for the 4th....right in line with my history--first mc crash, 1967, dislocated shoulder and dignity 1980. I have it narrowed down to a reaction to a med, or West Nile, or Swine Flu, or Plague, or septic shock from an infection in my toe. I hope Aleve will cure it tonight as I must work tomorrow....
Saw the fireworks at Redondo last PM, then boogalooed out of there while the second private show was going off just off PV. Still took almost 2 hrs back to Pasadena. Lots of home fired stuff along the 110, don't know what them fellers is thinkin'.....

15 or 16 iirc.....Better than last year though.
Talked to my Aunt in Sequim WA today. Now you'd think the IQs might be higher there, but a couple of visiting kids were doing fireworks (boomer stuff from the Indian rez) until about 11. Left to get more and started again at 2AM. Cop comes, they start up again after he leaves. 4 cops come, they start up again half an hour after they leave. Down here they'd have been in the stir on the first trip methinks....
