So about 2 weeks ago, my truck started feeling really strange going down the road. While under load or slowing down, everything felt fine, but at cruise it feels like it starts to miss. Now, it randomly starts acting like it does when you run it outta fuel (i.e. missing a lot, no power, unable to hold any rpm, nothing.) I thought it was my chip at fist, but I unplugged it and it made no difference. The CPS was replaced about 2 years ago, but would this match the symptoms? Could it jus be the injectors going bad (237k on originals)? Where should I start?
Mine was doing something like this and it turned out to be the TPS it would idle fine and when you mash it to the floor it was fine but at cruise speed it felt like i was running out of fuel or a real bad miss

That is what I was getting at with the drive with cruise...
You need to put a voltmeter across the GY/W and the GY/R wires on the connector to the TPS. With the key on, watch the voltage across the range of the throttle to see if there is any flat spots. You should see no less than .37 volts at idle position and no more than 4.5 volts at full throttle. The the third wire, (BRN/W), is the ref. voltage and should be 5 volts all the time.
I'll look into the TPS. I'm not getting any codes. I'm gonna do an oil change in the morning too just to see. It's been a hard 3k and even though I normally wait until 5 with synthetic, It's worth a shot. I gotta be able to drive!
How long has it been since you cleaned your fpr screen? if its dirty enough to start plugging up, it'll start messing with your power and causing a stumble or lope.
